During summer 2024, I was a summer student at
CERN openlab.
CERN, the European Center for Nuclear Research, in
Geneva, Switzerland, is the largest particle physics
laboratory in the world, and is the site where the
world wide web was invented (And I interned there!!).
CERN Openlab is CERN's public-private technology development
institution.
My project involved using NVIDIA Omniverse,
their 3D software, to create, display, and simulate a 3D
digital twin of CERN. The 3D assets were already in place;
my role was to migrate them to Omniverse and create tools
to take advantage of the software, like the navigation tool
in the above video.
I presented my project in more detail in front of my internship cohort.
Watch me present here!
